Eurotrubplast Trading House to increase warehouse efficiency with Clobbi

The representative office of the British company Radius Systems is looking to gain better control over its stock balance and increase the transparency of warehouse operations with the Clobbi system.

The Ukrainian trading house Eurotrubplast is part of the British group of companies Radius Systems, a world leader in the production of polymer pipes, fasteners, welding equipment and related products. The Ukrainian representative office of the company includes the pipe plants in Rubizhne and Kalush, a remote warehouse in Kyiv and regional offices around Ukraine.

The company has encountered difficulties in warehouse management and in the traceability of stock balance in its warehousing facilities. To solve this problem, the Clobbi system has been chosen.

The new system has to fulfill the following goals: to improve the control of balances and their movement at the enterprise and between its branches, to increase the efficiency of the warehouse, and to organize accounting in a single information base with a view to scaling it to new branches. About 50 Eurotrubplast employees will be working with the system.

During the project, Clobbi plans to improve stock balance control with the new system and use a WMS application to increase warehouse efficiency. Barcoding of products will be introduced for more transparency in handling warehouse stocks.

‘Digital transformation projects provide for a better quality of management control and increase the efficiency of enterprises. For companies with distributed warehouses, such systems help to reduce operational costs. By digitalizing the flow of goods and documents, you can reduce the cost of maintaining the paperwork and minimize human-related errors,’ says Oleksandr Sviderskyi, Project Manager at Clobbi.

‘The ERP management system of our company was initially based on 1C. As our production grew, it failed to meet our requirements. After analyzing the enterprise management systems market, we chose Clobbi because we saw a comprehensive management solution to cover all our current and future needs. Today we are implementing a warehouse management project, and after it is completed, we expect to spend less on staff and speed up the warehousing processes,’ reveals Igor Strelets, General Director of Eurotrubplast Trading House LLC.

The project on the system implementation is expected to last 4 months. The commissioning is scheduled for January 2021.
